CHIR    PRACTIC

CAN HELP YOU!

Chiropractic works because you are a self-healing organism controlled and regulated by your nervous system. Millions of instructions flow from your brain, down the spinal cord, and out to every organ and tissue. Signals sent back to the brain confirm whether your body is working as it should. Improper motion or position of the moving bones of the spine may interfere with this vital exchange by irritating nearby nerves and the tissues they control. Precise chiropracitc adjustments are intended to improve mind-body communications. Health often returns with improved nervous system control of the body.

HOW DOES CHIROPRACTIC WORK?

Chiropractic is a science, art and philosophy. It's a scientific fact that your brain and nervous system control every cell, tissue and organ of your body. Research confirms that interferences to the nervous system change the way the body functions. Nerve interferences are most common along the spine. Objective tests help locate these interferences, called subluxations , and precise chiropractic adjustments are designed to help correct or reduce them.

Subluxations (sub-luk-sa'shun): a condition is which one or more vertebrae are out of alignment to such an extent that a nerve is impinged and the normal transmission of nerve energy is obstructed.

IS CHIROPRACTIC SCIENTIFIC?

WHAT DOES CHIROPRACTIC CURE?

Chiropractic doesn't cure anything! Nor is it a treatment for disease. If there's going to be any curing, your body will do it. Not doctors. And certainly not durgs. The best doctors reduce the interferences that may be preventing your body from expressing its inborn healing capacity. That's why chiropractors are interested in the nervous system. With a revived nerve supply, your self-healing abilities are unleased.

OTITIS
Part 1+2
Signs, symptoms, clinical examination findings and etiology of the various types of otitis.

Otitis means inflammation of the ear. To discuss the different types of  otitis or inflammations of the ear, I start with a basic anatomy of the ear.  The ear is divided into three parts; external, middle and internal ear. The external ear is divided into the auricle and the external auditory meatus which is continuous with the tympanic membrane. The tympanic membrane is divided into the pars flaccida, the superior aspect, and pars tensa, the remaining portion of the membrane. The middle ear or tympanic cavity is essentially the tympanic membrane and three openings. There is a round and an oval opening, which provide for the communication with the inner ear and the last opening is the Eustachian tube (ET), which provides for a mechanism to drain into the Para nasal sinuses. :.....
